Massage Styles
My massage style delicately weaves traditional remedial and sports massage with myofascial release, soft tissue release, movement and meditation techniques to help bring you and your body back into balance.

My focus as a massage therapist is on supporting you to gain insight into how you use your body.

I factor in an additional 15 minutes into our first session, where I use a specialist consultation process to inform me on the best treatment plan moving forward.

Mindful Massage
A slooooow and soothing massage grounded in mindfulness principles. A mindful massage session begins with a brief guided relaxation, where you will have the opportunity to become aware of body and breath, in the here and now. We then move onto the massage element, which is specifically adapted to best support you. A mindful massage for you might incorporate the rhythmical qualities of Swedish Massage with the meditative qualities of Myofascial Release holds, and the movement qualities of Soft Tissue Release. A mindful massage can help you to melt away accumulated stress and tension, and deeply relax your body and mind. Mindful massage can help you to feel more you.

Remedial and Sports Massage
An intricate massage that will help you to prevent injuries and perform better. The session starts with you. I want to hear about what is going on for you and your body, and how that is impacting on your functioning. I will perform a series of assessments to help me better understand problematic holding patterns, and to inform me on which massage techniques are likely to best support you. I use a gentler approach to best support you on your healing journey, where I adopt Myofascial Release, Soft Tissue Release and Muscle Energy Techniques to help bring your body back into balance. Remedial and sports massage can help to reduce muscular discomfort, improve joint mobility, and keep your body injury-free for longer.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a slow and mindful technique aimed at releasing accumulated restrictions throughout the three dimensional fascial network (connective tissue) that surrounds ALL muscles, joints, organs and bones. Myofascial Release is applied using a steady and sustained pressure into affected areas. Each Myofascial Release hold is maintained for a minimum of 5 minutes to enable the tissue beneath to soften and rebalance. During these holds, you might experience a stretch-like sensation that ranges in intensity as the tissue beneath recalibrates. Recalibrate body and mind. Restore pain-free movement.

Pregnancy Massage
A specially adapted massage for you, the expectant mum-to-be. Pregnancy massage offers you the chance to reduce the many aches and pains that can accompany your growing belly. I weave Myofascial principles into this session, rhythmically working across hard working areas to ease accumulated tensions, to aid in the reduction of swelling, and to help lull you into a beautifully relaxed bubble. Your time to rest, recuperate and feel fabulous. Because you deserve it.

Massage for People Living with Cancer
A deeply relaxing massage created specifically for you. Using my expertise as a lead complementary therapist, we will work together to create a massage plan aimed at aiding relaxation, improving energy levels, re-establishing a great night's rest, and reducing symptoms of discomfort in the short term and the long term. Some people worry that massage and cancer do not mix. Research has not found this to be the case. Nevertheless, each session will take into account areas affected by cancer, using altered techniques and pressure where necessary. Feel more you.
A Little About Movement
As a society, we have learned to become kinesiophobic: afraid to move.

Where appropriate, I incorporate movement into each session, playing with the motions of the body to teach you pain-free movement.

A deeply relaxing technique, movement during massage will help to re-establish a conversation between body and brain - teaching the body how to move within the realm of comfort.
