Hello hello beautiful people!
I believe that getting a massage and making space to meditate are 2 of the greatest gifts you can give your body and mind.

As a massage therapist and meditator for over 10 years, I am clearly biased.

But since qualifying in 2012, I have worked with a LOT of people, and have personally witnessed the wonders of massage and meditation.

As the lead Complementary Therapist within a hospice, I watched as people living with chronic and enduring illness were not only better able to manage symptoms, but suddenly found the strength and courage to face the journey in a whole new light.

In the clinic, I watched as people living with chronic discomfort emerged into a whole new person. They felt focused, energised and ready to take on anything.

A Little About How I Got Here ...
I have not always been a massage therapist. In fact, for a long time, I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up. I went through the motions at school, and it was by sheer luck that when selecting university courses, I was sitting next to a good friend who introduced me to Psychology. I have held a lifelong fascination for the body and mind, and while studying psychology, I felt great privilege at being able to learn about how the 2 relate. My intention was to become a clinical psychologist. Until the moment I received my first massage. While working as a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, I had the joy of organising the gift of massage to say thank you to all the staff for such amazing work (You can too. Please get in touch if you would like to find out more). I also took the chance to say thank you to myself. And in that moment, every ounce of stress and pressure melted away. I felt invigorated, energised, focused and reunited with myself and my body. Suffice to say, shortly after, I side stepped from one dream and entered into another.

My Other Loves
My life more recently has been filled with the joy of raising 2 littles - Órla and Luna. We uprooted life in Glasgow during the pandemic, and realised our dream of living near the countryside. And we haven't looked back. Since our first morning wander around Crieff, we knew that we had arrived home.

Over time, I have learned to carve out some child-free "me time". It is amazing what you can cram into a cheeky wee hour.

When I get a spare moment, you will find me meditating, at the allotment, cold water swimming, or at Nowhere Sauna.

Each joy has taught me to face the bitter cold. And to take the plunge. If you can do that, you can do anything.
